Re: Woman Found Shot to Death: (Victim Identified) UPDATED INFORMATION

The Los Alamitos Police Department has identified the victim in this case as Maria Del Refugio Aguilar, DOB: 12-16-72. She was identified as the resident at 4384 Howard Avenue.

At about 6:35 pm, Los Alamitos Police Officers responded to a report of shots heard in the area of 4300 Howard. Officers located an open, rear window at 4384 Howard. Officers entered and found the victim had been shot multiple times. She was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Orange County Fire Authority.

A neighbor reported seeing a male, white, 20 years old wearing black clothing exit the window. The male was described as carrying a black bag. The area was cordoned off and a search for the suspect was conducted with negative results.
