Woman Found Shot to Death

At about 6:35 pm on April 18, 2005 Los Alamitos Police Officers responded to the 4300 block of Howard Avenue in regards to gun shots heard in the area.

Officers arrived in the area and found an open window to the rear of 4384 Howard Avenue. Officers entered the residence and located a female inside who had been shot multiple times. The female who is not being identified at this time appears to be in her early thirties, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A neighbor reported seeing a male dressed in dark clothing exit the rear window of the apartment. The area was cordoned off and a search for the suspect was conducted with negative results.

The investigation is being conducted by Los Alamitos Police Detectives, with assistance from detectives from Cypress and Seal Beach Police Departments.
