National "Do Not Call" Registry and Mobile Telephones

December 22, 2004:  In a few weeks, mobile telephone (cell phone) numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you may start receiving sales calls on these devices. If you wish to avoid this intrusion, add your mobile telephone number to the Federal Trade Commission's "Do Not Call" Registry by telephoning 1-888-382-1222 with your mobile telephone. To include another telephone line on the list, you must call again using that line. The telephone number will be listed on the "Do Not Call" Registry for 5 years. To extend the time that the telephone number is listed, you can re-register by calling again.
